The Pentel P205 series has gone through few design modifications since the seventies, but the main design has remained mostly unchanged. This Pencil is pretty classic. The pencil is light and clean. The lead advancing is consistent and it holds the lead tightly. It’s overall a great pencil. The Pentel P205 Series is a classic professional drafting pencil and this is a special limited edition of the 0.5mm, with ‘since 1970’ printed on the barrel.
The pencil has a plastic barrel. Along the sides of it are ribs that make it easier to hold onto. The cap is removable, and underneath it is an eraser that can be used to correct mistakes. This 4mm lead sleeve is ideal for technical drafting or general writing.
