The lead can be extended in two ways with the Pilot FriXion Erasable Dr. Grip CL PlayBorder Mechanical Pencil: by shaking the pencil up and down or by pressing the pen’s head downward. It includes a double-rubber grip, which better conforms to the hand and lessens writing strain over time. There has an eraser installed at the top for prompt rubbing.
